Mill Creek Falls is a beautiful and diverse community in Lake Wylie, SC. Situated just south of the
North Carolina line on Highway 274, one could not ask for a better location. Residents benefit from the low taxes York County, South Carolina has to offer but at the same time enjoying the perks of being a
stone’s throw away from big city Charlotte, it’s sort of like having your cake and eating it too. Being a
short distance from picturesque Lake Wylie which provides opportunities for boating, fishing, and
assorted other water sports, residents sometimes even get the feeling they’re on a permanent vacation.
And if that’s not enough, Mill Creek Falls is also located approximately a half hour away from an
international airport and only 20 minutes away from a brand new outlet mall.
But with the many amenities available to Mill Creek Falls homeowners, sometimes there is never a
reason to leave home. The sub-division comes equipped with a Junior-Olympic size pool and children’s
pool, two tennis courts, a six-acre community lake with a gazebo overlook complete with picnic tables
and barbecue grill, and a recently upgraded walking trail. That is not all, however. Mill Creek Falls also
has a very busy social calendar providing year-round activities for young and old alike. There is the
“Annual Egg Hunt” in the spring and a variety of events held at the clubhouse and pool during the
summer including “Dive-In Movie Night” and “Adult Night”. During the fall there is “Community Fun Day”
(introducing a carnival-like atmosphere), a rousing “Cornhole And Tennis Tournament”, and
Fall Bazaar and Chili Cook-off!!! Of course, a visit from Santa Claus is indeed a must during the holiday season.  We like to have fun during the holidays with our Halloween and Christmas light decorating contests as well!
To sum up, Mill Creek Falls with its ideal location and active social program makes it an enviable
place to live. It is a vibrant community where there is plenty to do for those who wish to get involved
and where neighbors actually talk to and interact with one another. And for those who choose to
remain a little less active, their privacy is valued and respected.
